Auburn Area Community Theatre (AACT)Young Performers Perform – “Holmes and Watson: The Game’s Afoot” adapted by Jon Jory.
The streets of London are full of crime and mystery, and only the world’s greatest detective of 221b Baker Street can stop it. Join Sherlock Holmes and Doctor John Watson in three of the original Holmes stories, ‘The Beryl Coronet’, ‘The Noble Bachelor’, and ‘The Speckled Band’. Violins and deerstalker hats abound.

First of all, to everyone who auditioned both virtually and in-person, and to the parents and guardians who helped the students do so, I would like to sincerely thank you so much and congratulate all of the actors. I was a long-time youth performer with the community theatre and what all of you did requires incredible effort and bravery and you all did it wonderfully.
If not for some rehearsal conflicts and complications, Mrs. Melanie and I agreed that all of you could have handled the script and done amazing.
To those of you who are cast in the show, congratulations! This is going to be a kind of challenging script to handle but I saw all of you work very hard and I’m extremely confident in you all.
Please confirm with the stage manager Julia Decoteau (jjdeco@icloud.com) and myself (npd0011@auburn.edu) to accept your role.
*Important Note: as we prefaced in the callback information, there will be a cast meeting before the holiday break on December 14th at the Jan Dempsey, I’ll be meeting you all and we will start working with the script. Please come with any questions for me! If you already know you will not be able to be at the meeting, or if you discover you won’t be, whether you already wrote it in your conflicts list or not, please let me and Julia know at your earliest convenience.
Thank you all once again and best wishes,
Nick DiJulio
