About the Class

This welcoming, hands‑on class is perfect for first‑time actors learning the basics—or returning performers looking to polish technique in a supportive, relaxed setting. You’ll explore scenes from plays and movies, practice improvisation, learn stage directions, and develop believable characters while building confidence on stage.

Who Should Join

Adults (18+) who are brand‑new to acting or eager to brush up their skills. No prior experience required— just curiosity and a willingness to play.

Instructor

Lori McCormack worked in Los Angeles and Atlanta before performing and directing with AACT. Lori brings real‑world experience, an encouraging teaching style, and a passion for helping actors find their voice. Come act out loud with us—seriously!
