Young Performers

Currently, our Young Performers are working on Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book.”  While it’s not a musical, there will be instruments and dancing incorporated into the classic tale. Join all your jungle friends – Mowgli, Bagherra, Baloo the Bear, Shere Khan, and get swept away as the young performers take you into “The Jungle Book.”

Auditions were held in early August and rehearsals are ongoing. Just because the cast list has already been determined doesn’t mean there’s not a way for you to plug in to this production. There is a set build scheduled for October 9, 9 am – 2 pm; this is an “all hands on deck” day when we need as many volunteers  as we can get. You don’t have to be handy with tools – we can find ways for anyone to help – kids too!

Tech rehearsals are scheduled for October 9-10 3 – 7 pm. If you’ve always wanted to run sound or lights, now’s your chance! Backstage technicians are always appreciated too. Let Melanie Brown know how you’d like to help and join this fabulously fun production.

Productions are set for October 12-16th (see our calendar for details). You won’t want to miss this!
